About The Artist

Sandy Spain

"I am grateful to be able to share the beauty of everyday life, through vibrancy of color and intense movement, with those that appreciate the aesthetic qualities Art has to enrich our individual lives. I give you a glimpse of my world, where bold strokes and abstract impressions, created by the emotions of color sets the stage for a journey across the canvas. Each painting begins with a personal expression of feelings and the colors collide to form my story. It is a thoughtful process with the lines, the shapes, the splashes of colors and the sense of motion, searching for happiness, meaning, and that spiritual connection, same as a line in a poem or the melody of a song gives us." -S.Cooper Spain

Award winning artist, Sandy Spain paints with her heart when putting her emotions on canvas. Utilizing acrylics in unrealistic but vivid colors, as well as the softer values,  her paintings show her passion. Her talent is enhanced by the enjoyment she receives from the creative process and the emotional response that it generates from the viewer, be it Abstraction or Traditional.

Ms. Spain has works in private collections throughout the United States, Switzerland, Norway, Canada, Austria, and Germany.

Presently resides in Nashville, Tennessee.
